Another new project: the async autobattler
What is it?
Wait, another new project?! Yes. I am really good at coming up with new ideas and starting projects but not finishing them or releasing them. This idea has been brewing even longer than the puzzle game, so I decided to get started finally, and we'll see where it goes.
I jotted down some notes earlier this year that sums up the game pretty solidly still:
* asynchronous multiplayer - build a deck and “send out” to battle other teams, get the results or “replay” it live
* auto battler. units act by themselves
* card based. units are replaced with new ones from the deck. also spells and such that triggers when drawn
* CTF - units play out a game of capture the flag. could be other game modes like death match too
* rogue/tactics movement. units move/act in a turn order on a square grid map
* setting is pulp scifi horror (aliens robots vampires etc)
